This project for Gavin Sade was to create a transmitter than can detect acceleration in a firestick. The sensor data was converted to numbers betwen 0 and 255 and then converted to midi. The receiver has a midi out and a serial data out so it can be used with musical instruments or data input to a computer. Both units were battery powered. I used pic microcontrollers to handle the data and bought a premade rf board to go on each device. All this was done before accelerometers were cool.....
